Daily Record Sporting Heroes campaign, encouraging grassroots sports to the young people of Scotland
The Daily Record launched the 'Sporting Heroes of the Future' campaign in 2005, with the aim of encouraging children to take part in sport and lead a healthy lifestyle. Working in conjunction with various sponsors the campaign has put on numerous grassroots events across Scotland, which have motivated and inspired many kids to follow their dreams of becoming a future Scottish sporting hero.
